Charlotte Safavi is a magazine and newspaper writer.  She has written for many publications, including The Washington Post Magazine, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, Renovation Style and Victorian Homes.  In addition to writing about decor, travel, food, art and architecture, Charlotte writes personal essays, as well as a quarterly column on tea for Inns magazine.

Charlotte is working on a book drawing upon her rich multicultural background.  Though born in London and educated at Oxford University, her heritage is Persian and she now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and son.
